To celebrate the Great Victory Day, Bangladesh Association of Central Ohio (BACO) organizes free flu-shot cultural events and fairs. The event will be held in the hall room of Centennial School on December 21 (Saturday) local time.
The event got off to a good start with the national anthem and dances, songs, recitations of poems, stage plays and fashion shows. Besides, elections of Bangladesh Association of Central Ohio will be held in 2020 and 2021.
In the election, Faisal Arafat was elected president and Monirul Islam Moni was elected general secretary. The other elected members of the committee are Ishfaq Islam (Vice-President), Joy Anam (Treasurer), Tania Siddique Pia (Cultural Secretary) and Yasin Ahmed, Executive Member. M Rustam Ali was elected chairman of the Endowment Committee and Liton Kabir was elected member.
Mahmudur Rahman was the chief election commissioner and Reza Hasan and Fazlul Haque were the other two members of the commission. The ceremony ended with a pleasant cultural event on Victory Day.
