The president of the Austrian parliament in Vienna said in a press note today that MP John Singer had contracted the corona virus. He is currently being treated at a hospital in Steamer. He last attended a special session of parliament on the corona virus last Sunday.
So far, 236 people have been infected with the corona virus and 14 have died.
The Austrian government’s move to curb Corona is reportedly supported by 98% of the population. On the other hand, so far 100,000 people are applying for unemployment benefits. This number is likely to increase further in the coming days.
