Former mayor Kamran left for the land of no return

adr Uddin Ahmed Kamran, former mayor of Sylhet City Corporation and central executive member of Awami League, has left the country without being infected with coronavirus.

He died while undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital in Dhaka (Innalillahi… .. Raziun).

On June 5, veteran politician Kamran’s corona was found positive in the PCR lab of Sylhet Osmani Medical College. Although he was kept in isolation at home from that night, he was admitted to the hospital on the morning of June 6 with vomiting and fever. However, vomiting and fever were under control but the condition did not change much. He was later admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka on Sunday (June 8) evening due to critical condition.

The doctors decided to give him plasma therapy at the initial observation. His body was given plasma therapy to collect ‘A’ positive blood from someone who had coronary heart disease.

According to his relatives, Badr Uddin Ahmed Kamran recovered a little after receiving plasma therapy at the hospital. He died at midnight on Sunday when his condition deteriorated.

Earlier, on May 26, Kamran’s wife Asma Kamran also tested positive for corona. He is currently in isolation at home.
